Visiting Theron!

I got to go to England and see Theron and Nicola this week (good friends from the school I did in the US)! They've been on outreach, leading the School of Worship school from Montana around in Europe, and are ending their stay at the continent spending a month in the UK. Theron had this all planned out, and added me to those plans half a year ago. So I figured I'd show up!

I caught a cheap flight to London early monday morning, and showed up at the station "Ore" in Hastings, England, at 12 o'clock that day! Theron and Nicola lived in Nicola's folk's house just a couple of minutes from there, so they showed up at the station. Really cool to see them again. :) Then we go to spend two days together, seeing the city and the channel (it was actually sunny most of the time), take a look around a couple of real old churches, trying to figure out some the norwegian viking involvement in the legendary (...) battle of Hastings in 1066 - and what that was all about... Eat everything but english food, play games and just hang out. A great two days, and a nice break for me.

I'll get them to come to Norway next time around. Theron was very much up for trying to take on the norwegian winter, hoping to achieve some of the spirit of the "Norwegian Nightmare" himself. :P

I did not get to take as many pics as I would like, but here's some.

Hastings, England

Theron was almost converted to Catholicism...
At least It does not seem to be a hill for him to die on anymore!

Back to winter wonderland.

And the people.

Last month of SBS...

Hey people..!

I was about to update my blog for real for the first time in more than half a year. I've been to England and visited Theron and Nicola! (But more on that in the nex post...). When I was at it, I found and old folder with pics made ready to be blogged, but never published. So I figured - hmm... these pics are some pretty darn good ones... too bad letting them falter and fade out in the wastness of random that is my picture archive on my laptop. Let's share! ;)

So here's how it goes: I'll put up the old pictures in this post - for the sake of nostalgia. Then I'll publish a post on my trip to England that happened this week. Then I'll try to do an update on what's been going down the last half a year back in the good, old motherland.
So... enjoy! :)

This picture is of the day the constitution of Norway was finalized. This place is half an hour south of where i live. Found it in a dusted storage facility in the middle of Kalispell...

Big boy Theron's b-day.
